What your customers see

Context

You want to understand the delivery experience from your customer's side, so your team knows what customers are looking at.

Answer

The whole experience happens over text and a web link — there's no app for your customer to download.

  1. A text message. When a delivery is on its way, your customer receives a text with a link to track it. Depending on your setup, the first message may invite them to receive their order by autonomous delivery.

  2. A tracking page. The link opens a tracking page carrying your branding, where your customer can follow the vehicle on a live map and see the estimated arrival time. The ETA is calculated automatically from when the order was ready plus current traffic — it stays accurate on its own.

  3. An arrival notification. When the vehicle arrives, your customer is prompted to come retrieve their order.

  4. Retrieval and confirmation. Your customer retrieves their order from the vehicle and confirms they've got it. (More on this in How customers receive their delivery.)
